Follow the water to the edge of the village.
Explore the waterfall, green valleys, olive groves, walking paths and mountain panoramas around Aïn Hamra in Taza Province.
The Aïn Hamra waterfall
Beyond the houses lies a ravine with a narrow waterfall and a natural pool. Locals and visitors swim there when conditions permit. This is separate from the mineral Red Spring.

Explore with respect
Rocky paths and water call for care, even when they are close to the village. Wear sturdy shoes, stay away from slippery edges and assess conditions before approaching the water. Swim only when it is safe and where local advice indicates it is appropriate. Take your litter away with you.
Mountains embracing the village
From a higher viewpoint, homes, winding roads and olive groves appear tucked between mountain slopes. The panorama reveals how closely the village belongs to its surroundings. Take time to look: the smaller details tell as much of the story as the sweeping view.

When the landscape turns green
The countryside changes with the seasons. After sufficient rain, grasses, flowers and trees can give the hillsides a striking green character. This calmer side of the landscape contrasts beautifully with the rocky terrain and the bubbling spring.

Outdoor walks and meeting places
The landscaped walkway is part of the Aïn Hamra experience too. Among trees, benches and mountain views, there is room to sit or take an unhurried walk. Nature is not just beyond the village: it also shapes everyday life.

A panorama worth lingering over
At different elevations, slopes, olive groves and buildings reveal new sides of Aïn Hamra. Some viewpoints emphasise the openness of the mountains; others show the close relationship between village and landscape. Let the visit be more than one quick photograph.
